Copper Sulphate Pentahydrate is a blue colored granular powder with major application as bactericide, algaecide and fungicide in both agro and non agro industries.

Copper sulfate uses

In agriculture, it forms the basis for manufacturing the agricultural fungicide Bordeaux Mixture and is also used as an algaecide and molluscicide, as well as to correct copper deficient soil.

Copper sulphate is used as an additive in animal feed to promote growth and correct copper deficiencies in the animals.

Its many industrial uses include applications as a preservative or additive in glues, paints, leather, synthetic fibres, textiles, hair dye products, fireworks, chlorophyll and wrapping paper for fruit, among others.
